VIDEO: Women’s surfwear brand Salt Gypsy is riding the Amazon Launchpad wave

Byron Bay surfer and fashion designer Danny Clayton set out to do several things when she created the women’s surfwear brand Salt Gypsy.

First up, the pioneer of the surf leggings’ trend wanted women to feel great and look good in her gear. Secondly, she wanted to leave the world a better place. Her sustainable surfwear is made from high-quality Italian nylon fashioned from recycled plastic ocean waste, including fishing nets.

Salt Gypsy is among 150 brands on Amazon Launchpad, the place to discover new and unique products from the world’s brightest startups, which launched in Australia this week.

Startup Daily spoke to Danny about the success of her stylish range of beachwear.
