The program is designed for high-growth, women-led companies who are ready to scale internationally.
The 2022 Global Cohort is:
SBE Australia CEO Nicole Cook said the cohort features “extraordinary” women looking to have a global impact.
“Enabling the success of these women are those that have gone before them. They continue to have impact on their businesses, the customers they serve, the communities they support and the economies they grow by their efforts and this is why we exist,” she said.
“It continues to be our mission to support women transforming industries around the globe”.
There was strong demand from female founders for the program, something SBE Australia chair Kerri Lee Sinclair noted was a major transformation from a decade earlier when SBE launched it advisory and accelerator services.
“In 2012 women entrepreneurs were hard to find. We pulled in favours to have 8 amazing women join us in our first program,” she said.
“In 2022, the landscape is quite different. Talented entrepreneurs abound and I cannot wait to witness these 10 women take their success to the US, Asia and beyond with the expertise and generosity of our network”.
Each entrepreneur in the Global Tech program will have a customised advisory team of up to six experts supporting them. The program culminates with a Business Showcase pitch event in Sydney before investors and industry experts.
SBE Australia has supported more than 200 female graduates in its Evolve program over the past decade. The 90 startups involved that have gone on to raise more than $1 billion in capital, and there have been two public listings and nine exits in Australia since 2012.
SBE doesn’t take equity in the startups it supports.
