Noel Castree

In 2020 Noel took up the Associate Dean (Research) role in the Faculty of Arts and Social Science at UTS, Sydney. He has previously worked at the University of Wollongong, Australia, and maintains a long affiliation with the University of Manchester, England. He is currently on long-term leave from UTS. Noel’s principal research interest is the political economy of environmental change. He has spent most of his career in departments of Geography. He’s currently writing a big book called What Future For The Earth? It will be published by Routledge in 2026.
