Maria O’Sullivan

Maria is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Law and a Deputy Director of the Castan Centre for Human Rights Law at Monash University. Her teaching and research interests are public law, refugee law and human rights law. Maria holds a doctorate from Monash University, having completed her PhD on Article 1C(5) of the 1951 Refugees Convention dealing with cessation of refugee status. She also undertook a Masters of Law degree at the University of Essex (UK), specialising in international human rights law.
